Oops

I have purchased another device.
Someone needs to disable my access from amazon.co.jp after 11pm.

On the upside, I am now equipped to make 1 L loaves of bread … and MOCHI. Fresh mochi from mochi rice.

Yeast + mochi = light, fluffy, mochi-ey deliciousness?
We shall see.

Mista Donuts better watch out. Assuming my good (not good for me) intentions ever get off the ground, that is.)

Kaichuu

A very weird yet cool thing happened at archery today. In addition to the usual abuse of my left arm, my first set of four shots all hit the target.

I get happy enough when I hit the target at all, let alone hitting it four consecutive times.

Maybe I am actually getting better at something. A nice feeling, that one. Doesn’t come around often enough.

Shibuya alley

A friend at work (quite different from a coworker mind you) brought me to a Thai noodle shop in Shibuya earlier this year.

I was hankering for something hot and spicy and fast, so a few weeks ago I went back. Tom tum tameness ain’t half bad just so ya know.

Anyhow on the to get my fix o spicy sour, I passed an alley full of firetrucks and a crowd of umbrella wielding plebians being held at bay by a man in a blue parka.

“Interesting,” I thought.

After the blue parka man asked me not to take a photo, the trucks started spewing water into the air and I finally got it. The umbrella troops obediently trickled by, and whatever scene was happening in whatever shop got it’s rainy background. Alas, no clue what show has scenes in Shibuya. Kinda cool they were filming just on a random weekday though.
